Lessons and Cost Options.
I offer music tuition online and kanohi ki te kanohi /in person at my home studio near Waikawau Bay, North-Eastern Coromandel. A local home visit is also possible by arrangement.
I also offer online music tuition or mentoring to students anywhere in Aotearoa, New Zealand, via zoom. This is particularly suitable to the more theoretical sides of music learning, eg reading music notation, composition and song-writing, or exploring any research topic at secondary school level.
An individualised course will be mapped out after the first free meeting which assesses the student’s current musical skills and personal interests.
30minute lessons will be plenty for children 5 years and under.
Regular 45 minute lessons are recommended for children 6 years and over, up to secondary level. Positive parental support is helpful, encouraging developing the habit of short daily practices or the completion of learning tasks in the student’s theory book.
1st lesson/assessment is free.
If you wish to proceed, there is a minimum commitment to a packet of 5 lessons.
eg Five 30minute lessons = $30 x 5 = $150.
Five 45 minute lessons = $45 x 5 = $225
There is a 10% discount for commitment to a packet of 10 lessons:
10 x 30minute lessons = $300 -10% = $270
10 x 45 minute lessons = $450 – 10% = $405
